We have a new subject for our upcoming Focus On: Scottish Licensing webinar, with guest speaker, Janet Hood delivering a presentation on an update for Scottish Licensing laws.

Janet Hood is a solicitor specialising in liquor licensing and other legislation relevant to businesses involved in retail, hospitality, and tourism in Scotland. She acts as a consultant to several law firms across Scotland and has created Janet Hood Training & Consulting Limited through which she offers a bespoke service to licensees and others with a view to helping her customers maximise their business. Janet has also been Convenor of the Equality and Diversity Committee at the Law Society of Scotland, which she has been a part of for 18 years and a board member for 5 years.

During this webinar on 19 January, Janet will deliver a 45-minute presentation focusing on the importance of ensuring employees are informed regarding regulations in the workplace alongside a Scottish licensing update. Topics will include:

 - the Importance of training for compliance

 - common legal pitfalls in licensed premises

 - when to engage legal professionals

 - licensing update

Following Janet’s presentation, there will be 45 minutes available for a Q&A session, putting the expert at your fingertips.

Attendees on this webinar will receive a CPD certificate worth 2 CPD points.
